Patch makes text-based programming fun. Built with a focus on allowing creative exploration in Python with a Scratch like programming experience.
Patch supports transferring project from Scratch. With a simple upload, student’s can take their favorite block-based Scratch project and convert to a text-based Patch project and immediately start programming in Python.
Patch is completely web-based. What does that mean? No installs on any devices and no downloading save files. Just start coding, creating, and playing with Python in an instant.
Teaching CS is hard. We’re here to help. With Patch-Ed, Patch’s associated living curriculum, educators get access to years of ready made activities aligned with CSTA standards that help student’s transfer skills and confidence from block-based coding to Python.
